They were in an oven proof plate, swimming in butter? and topped with crushed, "seasoned" Ritz crackers. Fortuantely the scallops were cooked properly BUT had very little taste. This came with 1 side, I chose cole slaw. I had the broiled scallops, for $26 ( please remember, this is lunch). We should have sent it back but my husband doess not like to complain. It was definitley not worth $20 or even $5. We had a late lunch and were wondering if the fish was made closer to noon and left in a warmer until it was served to him around 3PM. He also got a small serving of cole slaw with the $20 fish and chips. The fish looked dessicated and the fries were so so.
My husband got fish and chips because he likes them and he says it's hard to mess them up. No bread was offered with our meal and we both got meals, not sandwiches. In all fairness it did have a nice blob of lobster throw in the top of the cup, but it was certainly not a creamy, thick, velvety bisque.
I had the corn/lobster bisque, which was good as a soup but as other reviewers have said looked water down and the corn looked like it came out of a can. My husband had the clam chowder, which he said was fine. It may have in fact have held 8 ounces but it certainly didn't look it. The actual cup for the soup was a very narrow cup. I have to agree with most of the negative reviews. We read all the recent reviews before having lunch there today and unfortunately decided to give it a try.
